Modernized Landing Experience for a Smarter, Faster Product Management Workflow
Background
A leading product management platform was due for a visual and functional refresh. Users interacted with the interface daily to search, activate, and manage product information—yet the existing design felt dated, navigation required too many steps, and essential elements weren’t surfaced intuitively. A short, focused engagement aimed to deliver a refreshed landing experience that felt modern, efficient, and aligned to user workflows.
Problem
User research revealed that:
- Core actions like finding recently accessed items required unnecessary effort.
- Design gaps slowed navigation and increased cognitive load.
- Some proposed features (like “Recently Searched Products”) posed significant technical complexity—requiring logging, tracking, and ensuring image availability for each user profile.
- Inconsistent imagery availability and variable user behavior made this approach unreliable, especially for new or infrequent users.
A simpler, scalable alternative was needed—one that enhanced user experience without introducing heavy backend development.
What We Achieved
We redesigned the landing page with a sharp focus on usability, discoverability, and effortless navigation. After technical evaluation, we introduced a “Recently Activated Products” module—a feature supported by existing platform data and logic, enabling immediate rollout without complex engineering overhead.
The new UI surfaces 5–10 visually rich products users activated most recently, ensuring relevance, image availability, and global consistency. Over four weeks, the team delivered a refreshed design that is clean, intuitive, and ready for rapid implementation.
